Purpose
The DRDC Valcartier Research Centre requires support for the development of electro-optical simulators and analysis of electro-optical systems.
Background
With the recent success of the virtual proving ground (VPG) capacity and approval of the contract to modernize the CP 140 Aurora, DRDC Valcartier has been mandated to support the CP 140 Aurora project office in the validation and verification of directed energy countermeasures for the next 20 years.
In order to fulfil the current mandate, DRDC Valcartier must purchase new equipment and simulators within the next four years.
