The Department of National Defence is interested in potentially procuring Expendable Torpedo Countermeasures Launcher Systems for use with existing inventory of Expendable Torpedo Countermeasures and Sonobuoys by surface warships, such as the Halifax Class frigates. The purpose of this Letter of Interest is to solicit industry feedback on the requirement, as well as to seek information regarding Launcher Systems on the market compatible with the Expendable Acoustic Countermeasures and Sonobuoys used by the Royal Canadian Navy. The Department of Defence also wants to obtain Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) costing including price per unit for the system and associated costs for non-recurring engineering, training, sparing, documentation etc. to be used for budgetary purposes.
