Requirement
Provide and deliver to Defence R&D Canada - Valcartier Research Center, an electronic target system meeting, at minimum, the following specifications:
Minimal System Specifications
Operational temperature range: -10C to +40C
Operational humidity range: 30% to 90%
Operational rainfall range: 0 to 1 mm/hr
Operational snowfall range: 0 to 1 cm/hr
Types of projectiles: supersonic projectiles ranging from 5.56 mm to 7.62 mm
Minimum precision detection radius for targets at all distances between 100 m and 700 m: at least a radius of 20% of the active area width and active area height, whichever is greater, of the active surface area centered around point (0,0) which is at the physical centre of the target.
Accuracy requirement in detection area: equal or less than 2.0 mm from true location in the region centered at the target center coordinate (0, 0) and extending out a radius of 20% of the active area height and active area width dimension whichever is larger.
Precision requirement in detection area: Maximum 2.5 mm standard deviation from true location based on 30 round group fired at any distance
Datalink: wireless datalink with minimum 700 m range to link targets with data acquisition system either singly or as a group
Data acquisition system: data acquisition software that runs on a stand-alone MS Windows compatible data acquisition system
Data output: shot locations in Cartesian coordinates exportable in an Excel-compatible file format and calculation of mean point of impact, standard deviation and dispersion.
