Title: Quinisam River Hatchery Formlin Distribution System

Introduction:
The requirement is for a contractor to install an automated formalin dosing system for the stack and Atkin Cell incubators, along with the associated electrical and associated mechanical piping work. This is an operating production Hatchery that must remain operational during entire construction project.

Work shall include the supply of equipment, labour and materials for the performance of all work as required by the Contract Documents.

A NON MANDATORY site visit will be held on Wednesday December 4th at 1 pm at the Quinsam River Salmon Hatchery, 4217 Argonaut Road, Campbell River, B.C. Bidders should check in at the front doors of the main building. All costs incurred by the Bidder to attend the site visit will be at their expense. DFO will not reimburse any Bidder for expenses related to the site visit.

Ownership of Intellectual Property:
Not Applicable.

Security Requirement:
There is no security requirement for this project.

Mandatory Requirements:

• The minimum acceptable amount of Public Liability and Property Damage Insurance is $2,000,000.00 per occurrence. All tenders must be accompanied by confirmation from the tenderer’s insurance company that the required insurance will be available upon contract award;
• The tenderer must provide tender security, at the tenderer’s own cost, in accordance with the document entitled "Tender Security Requirements" as Bid Security is required for bids over $100,000. Under these circumstances, the Tender and original signed Bid Bond must be delivered to the Closing Location prior to closing date.
• Note: All tender securities will be returned except that of the successful tenderer, which will be retained until the successful tenderer has provided contract security.
