The Geological Survey of Canada-Calgary requires a micro-Raman Spectroscopy system to boost its organic petrology and geochemistry capabilities. The new Raman system will work in conjunction with the existing world-class organic petrographic system to produce detailed compositional maps of organic matter and minerals in geological samples. It will also provide an additional powerful thermal maturity measurement.
The proposed system must be fully integrated to allow the control and operation of the complete system from a single software platform.
Must include a Leica microscope for compatibility with our existing optical parts.
