This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid
solicitation number 6D059-132861/A dated November 28, 2013 with
a closing of January 9, 2014 at 2:00 pm. A debriefing or
feedback session will be provided upon request to
bidders/offerors/suppliers who bid on the previous solicitation.

Digital PCR System

Requirement

The purchase of a digital PCR system. The system will be able
to prepare greater than 5,000,000 picoliter-volume PCR reactions
with primer-probe sets. The resulting PCR reactions must be
prepared in a format that is compatible with thermocycling using
standard laboratory thermocyclers. The system has to be suitable
for a range of digital PCR applications including: rare
variant/mutation detection in the presence of high wild-type
background, residual disease monitoring, assessing tumor
heterogeneity, copy number analysis, gene expression analysis,
SNP detection, and the assessment of DNA quality on FFPE and
other degraded sample types.
