This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number W0046-195111/A dated November 26th, 2018 with a closing of January 14th, 2019 at 14:00 EST. A debriefing or feedback session will be provided upon request to bidders who bid on the previous solicitation.
The Royal Military College of Canada (RMC)'s Department of Physics and Space Science in Kingston Ontario, has a requirement for the supply and delivery of 1 Metal Evaporator & Sputter Coater. Delivery is required on or before May 15th, 2019.
A bid must comply with all requirements of the bid solicitation to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract.
Some of the mandatory technical specifications of the Metal Evaporator & Sputter Coater include, but are not limited to:
1. The same system must have thermal and carbon evaporation and sputter coating;
2. Must use low-temperature enhanced-plasma magnetron sputtering with noble or oxidizing metals; and
3. Must have turbomolecular pump that has a minimum of 70 L/s vacuum rate;
The Bidder must submit pricing in accordance with Annex B - Basis of Payment, in Canadian Funds.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
