The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for
the supply and installation of three (3) Security Screening
X-Ray Devices (SSXD), to be used by DND for the security
screening of all items being dipstched on military platforms to
overseas operations and missions,
complete with on-site user training for up to eight (8) users,
manuals and a two year warranty. The system must meet the
mandatory requirements set out in the Request for Proposal.
The requirement also incluse an option to purchase baggage
roller tables on an "as and when requested" basis within one (1)
year after contract award and an option purchase additional
spares parts on an "as and when requested" basis within five (5)
years after contract award.
Delivery of the initial three systems: one to 8 Wing Trenton ON,
one to CFB Halifax NS and one to CFB Esquimalt BC must be
received on or before 31 March 2015.
This amendment is raised to change the Time Zone from Eastern
Daylight Saving Time (EDST) to Eastern Standard Time (EST).
