Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Ontario Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. The health and safety of staff and suppliers remains our top priority.
Suppliers are required to submit bids electronically using the Canada Post epost Connect application for the subject bid solicitation. This service allows suppliers to submit bids, offers and arrangements electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level.

Computed Radiography (CR) Imaging Systems
The Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF), has a requirement to obtain ten (10) Computed Radiography (CR) imaging systems as described in Annex ?A? in order to facilitate a move away from traditional radiographic film based aircraft inspections. CR imaging technology will allow the elimination of chemical based film development, rapid transfer of inspection results between facilities, and large capacity storage of electronic image files.
The 10 Computed Radiography (CR) imaging Systems must be delivered by 1 November, 2021
The contract has an option for the purchase of up to 5 additional units until 31 March 2024.
SECURITY REQUIREMEN T
At the date of BID CLOSING, the Bidder must comply with the Security Requirement.
SECURITY REQUIREMENT FOR CANADIAN SUPPLIER:
1. The Contractor/Offeror must, at all times during the performance of the Contract/Standing Offer, hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS), issued by the Contract Security Program (CSP), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC).
2. The Contractor/Offeror personnel requiring access to sensitive site(s) must EACH hold a valid RELIABILITY STATUS, granted or approved by the CSP, PWGSC.
3. Subcontracts which contain security requirements are NOT to be awarded without the prior written permission of the CSP, PWGSC.
4. The Contractor/Offeror must comply with the provisions of the:
a) Security Requirements Check List and security guide (if applicable), attached at Annex D;
b) Industrial Security Manual (Latest Edition).
