Title: Tool Control Technician

Requirement:

The Department of National Defence (DND), 8 Wing Trenton,
Trenton ON, Aerospace and Telecommunications Engineering Support
Squadron (ATESS) requires a Tool Control Technician for the
purpose of the day-to-day management of the Unit Tool Control
(UTC) section. The services must be provided in accordance with
Annex "A" - Statement of Work, per solicitation package.

Period of Contract:

The period of the resulting contract will be from date of
contract award to one (1) year later inclusive, with the
irrevocable option to extend the term of the contract by up to
two (2) additional one (1) year periods under the same
conditions.

Security:

This document contains a security requirement.

Before award of a contract, the following conditions must be met:

(a) the Bidder must hold a valid organization security clearance
as indicated in Part 7-Resulting Contract Clauses (found in
solicitation package);
(b) the Bidder's proposed individuals requiring access to
classified or protected information, assets or sensitive work
site(s) must meet the security requirement as indicated in Part
7- Resulting Contract Clauses;
(c) the Bidder must provide the name of all individuals who will
require access to classified or protected information, assets or
sensitive work sites.

Controlled Goods:

The resulting contract will require production of or access to
controlled goods that are subject to the Defence Production Act.
If the Bidder is not already registered, exempt or excluded
under the Controlled Goods Program, they should register
immediately. Registration, exemption or exclusion from the
Controlled Goods Program must be maintained for the duration of
the Contract.

Joint Certification Program:

This contract involves unclassified military data subject to the
provisions of the Technical Data Control Regulations. It is
required that the chosen contractor become certified in the
U.S./Canada Joint Certification Program (JCP). The suppliers
may obtain information on how to become certified in the JCP by
reviewing the information at:
