5P420-17-5439/A – Mount Revelstoke Campground Development
Requirement:
Mount Revelstoke & Glacier National Park requires a contractor to develop a campground at the location of the former superintendent’s house located 1 km from Revelstoke, on the Meadows in the Sky Parkway. The work includes the development of a road network, a sanitary sewer system including disposal field, a water distribution system from the City of Revelstoke, a power and communications connection to the site, the construction of a new washroom and shower building and also the renovation of the former superintendent’s house in to a campground centre and eating shelter. The project consists of 63 campsites which are varied between pull-through and back-in sites to accommodate Class A motorhomes and also walk-in tenting sites. See attached documents for details.
Project Timeline:
The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work by March 31, 2019. See specifications for project milestones.

National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.
