Amendment 002 is raised to decrease the firm quantity of Item 3, Polar Fleece to 500 metres.

REQUIREMENT
CORCAN-Correctional Service Canada has a requirement for items specified below. The items must be manufactured in accordance with the technical requirements specified at Annexes A & B of the solicitation.
FIRM QUANTITIES:
ITEMS 1a to 1i - qty 65,400 metres
Tubular knit, Royal Blue: single knit (20/1), 50% polyester / 50% brushed cotton ± 5%, 180 g/m² (5.3 oz/yd²) ± 3%;
ITEM 2 - qty 40,000 metres
Neck band (collar), Royal Blue, Width 7.65 cm (3") ± 5%, Simple jersey knit, 1 x 1 rib, 50% cotton / 50% polyester ± 5%, 180 g/m² (5.3 oz/yd²) ±3%;
ITEM 3 - qty 5,000 metres
- Polar fleece knit, 100% polyester, color Dakota green, 255 g/m² (7.5 oz/yd²) ± 3%;
- The fabric width must be between 157.5cm (62 in) and 162.5 cm (64 in);
- The fabric must be brushed both sides (front and back) and 1 side (front) must be anti-pill.
- A black line between 1" & 1 1/2" in the centre (both options knitted or printed will be accepted).
DELIVERY- FIRM QUANTITY
The delivery of the firm quantity is requested complete within 75 calendar days from the date of the written notice of approval of the pre-production samples.
"AS & WHEN REQUESTED" QUANTITIES:
The requirement also includes an estimated quantity. The estimated quantity may be ordered on an "as & when requested" basis by CORCAN for a period of 48 months from the effective date of the contract. Canada is not obliged to request any such goods and the estimated quantity is only an approximation of requirements.
Tubuar Knit - estimated quantity 115,800 metres
Neckbands - estimated quantity 70,000 metres
Polar Fleece - estimated quantity 125,000 metres
OPTION
This requirement also includes an option to purchase an additional quantity. The option is exercisable within 36 months from contract award. The options may only be exercised by the Contracting Authority and will be evidenced through a contract amendment. Multiple amendments may result. The following is the maximum quantity that may be ordered for all amendments.
For items 7a to 7i: 204,000 metres distributed amongst the sizes.
For item 8: 120,000 metres
For item 9: 60,000 metres
PRE-AWARD SAMPLE AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION
The bidders must submit pre-award samples and laboratory test results with their bid.
CONTRACT FINANCIAL SECURITY:
If the bid is accepted, the Bidder may be required to provide contract financial security in the amount of up to five percent (5%) of the contract price.
CANADIAN CONTENT POLCY:
This requirement is conditionally limited to Canadian goods.If two (2) + bids offer Canadian goods, other bids will not be considered.
If at any point in the evaluation process it is found, whether by determination of invalidity of certifications, determination that bids are non-responsive or withdrawal of bids by bidders, that there are no longer two (2) or more responsive bids with a valid certification, then all responsive bids will be eligible to be awarded a contract.
ENQUIRIES
To ensure a response before the bid closing date, all enquiries about this requirement must be submitted in writing and received by the Contracting Authority at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the bid closing date.
