The Department of National Defence, has a requirement for the
supply of all labour, materials, equipment, transportation and
supervision required to maintain the grass areas at the Canadian
Forces Base locations in Winnipeg AND/OR Thunder Bay AND/OR to
provide weed control services at Canadian Forces Base Shilo, on
an "as and when" requested basis from date of award
(approximately August 1, 2012) to 31 July, 2013 with two (2)
additional one year renewal option periods, in accordance with
the terms and conditions detailed herein at Annex A1, A2 and A3
(respectively).
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade
Organization Agreement on Government
Procurement (WTO-AGP), the North American Free Trade Agreement
(NAFTA), and the Agreement on
Internal Trade (AIT).
Mandatory Site Visits
Grass Cutting and Landscaping - Winnipeg and Thunder Bay
It is mandatory that the Offeror or a representative of the
Offeror visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for
site visit to be held on:
12 June 2012, 10:00 a.m., at CFB Winnipeg, 17 Wing, Building
100, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
19 June 2012, 10:00 a.m., at HMCS GRIFFON, 125 Algoma Street,
Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Offerors must communicate with the Contracting Authority no
later than two days before the scheduled visit to confirm
attendance and provide the names of the person(s) who will
attend. Offerors will be required to sign an attendance form.
Offerors should confirm in their bids that they have attended
the site visit. Offerors who do not attend or send a
representative will not be given an alternative appointment and
their offers will be rejected as non-compliant. Any
clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from
the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid
solicitation.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
