The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has a requirement for
the supply and delivery of Environmental Swabbing Kits to be
delivered to mutliple CFIA locations across Canada on an as and
when required basis in accordance with the requirement in the
Request for Proposal. These Environmental Swabbing Kits will be
used by CFIA Inspectors to swab surfaces (either food contact or
non-food contact surfaces) in manufacturing establishments in
order to determine the potential risk of the manufactured foods
being contaminated with pathogens, such as Listeria
monocytogenes.
The initial contract will be for a period of one (1) year with
the option to extend for two (2) one (1) year periods.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
