LETTER OF INTEREST:
This Letter of Interest (LOI) is not a tender and shall not
result in responses containing prices. Only the information
outline in the mandatory requirement must be provided.
The purpose of this LOI is:
To solicit interest for an upcoming standing offer requirement
on behalf of Real Property Branch (RPB) for an Electrical
Contractor to perform electrical work for the National Capital
Area.
To determine if potential Electrical Contractors possess the
required level of security clearance in order to submit an offer
on the requirement.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
To establish one Standing Offer to provide daily minor
electrical maintenance services for four (4) buildings located
in the National Capital Area. It is to be noted that apprentices
will be permitted to work on electrical projects and must be
registered as an apprentice electrician with the province of
Ontario. The apprentices must be under the direct supervision of
a licensed electrician at all times. It is anticipated that
the yearly volume of work will be approximately $250,000.00.
MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:
This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement. At
bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid Facility Security
Clearance at level of SECRET issued by the Canadian Industrial
Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government
Services Canada (PWGSC). Failure to comply with this
requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further
consideration will be given to the Bid.
