The University of Calgary (UCalgary) intends to award a 3-year, with optional 3-year service contract to Ivy.ai for their chatbot.

Currently multiple departments have a chatbot function on the webpage, this chatbot will help address questions as well as direct users to the proper site area.

Currently, the chatbot application is deeply embedded in the UCalgary infrastructure. Due to how entrenched this application is, it would not be practical to move on to a new chatbot. A chatbot would cause major disruption, UCalgary also does not have any additional resources or time to implement a new chatbot application.
