Full description

The University of Calgary (UCalgary) intends to award a 3-year, with an optional 3-year service contract to Broadcom for VMware licenses.

Currently, VMware is deeply embedded in the UCalgary infrastructure, and it would not be practical to move on to a Cloud and Virtualization solution. A new system would cause major disruption for the faculty, as well as the need to reconfigure a new system. UCalgary also does not have any additional resources to implement a new platform.
