Requirement
Canada has a requirement for assured access to a back-up supply of pandemic influenza vaccine from a pandemic ready influenza vaccine manufacturer.
The potential supplier must have and maintain a state of pandemic readiness, and in the event of a influenza pandemic, be able to produce and supply up to ten million doses of a monovalent influenza vaccine (inclusive of adjuvant if applicable) which demonstrates an acceptable level of immunogenicity in accordance with relevant World Health Organization (WHO) and European Medicines Agency (EMA) criteria for influenza vaccines.
Contract Period
Three years from contract award with option to extend the contract for a period of 1 year.
