To establish a Regional Individual Standing Offer for the provision of Halal Meat on an 'as and when" requested basis for the Correctional Service Canada, for Ontario Region Institutions.
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
The Standing Offer will be in effect from date of issuance to January 31, 2019, for 4, 3 month periods, over a one year period.
Period of the Standing Offer has been divided into the following four periods:
Period A: date of issuance to 30-April-2018 (24-January-2018)
Period B: 1-May-2018 to 31-July-2018 (16-April-2018)
Period C: 1-August-2018 to 31-October-2018 (16-July-2018)
Period D: 1-November-2018 to 31-January-2019 (15-October-2018)
It is the intention of the Crown to issue one Regional Individual Standing Offer for this requirement per period.
