NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT
Portable Handheld Ruggedized Video Scopes and Auxiliary Equipment
The Department of National Defence (DND) Canadian Forces Information Operations Group (CFIOG) requires the purchase of three (3) portable handheld ruggedized video scopes and auxiliary equipment.
The resulting contract will include initial deliverables, and optional deliverables for a period until 31 March 2022.
Detailed specifications of the required portable handheld video scopes can be found at Annex “A” of the attached Request For Proposal.
The initial and optional deliverables are estimated as follows:
Initial Deliverables
Three (3) portable handheld ruggedized video scopes and auxiliary equipment (including batteries, chargers, adapter tip, user manuals, carrying case, operating instructions and operating software).
Optional Deliverables
Three (3) portable handheld ruggedized video scopes and auxiliary equipment (including batteries, chargers, adapter tip, user manuals, carrying case, operating instructions and operating software).
Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid.
Nature of Requirement:
The Department of National Defence (DND) Canadian Forces Information Operations Group (CFIOG) is tasked with the protection of classified facilities within DND and as such, routinely conducts countermeasures activities to prevent the collection of information by unauthorized person(s) using surreptitious audio, video and/or electronic listening techniques.
Delivery Date: 31 March 2021
Competitive Procurement Strategy: A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract.
Canadian Content: The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods and/or services.
Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement.
Security Requirements: This contract does not include security requirements.
