Location:
Robertson Creek Hatchery, Port Alberni, BC

Work Description:
Work of this Contract comprises the abrasive blast cleaning of
each channel, power washing each channel, repairing damaged
cocrete, routing and filling all cracks in the concrete, filling
eroded concrete surfaces, repairing and rebuilding expansion
joints, provide treatment to all embedded metal work in channels
and coating the ponds after filling to resurface six (6)
steelhead rearing channels A, B, C, D, E and F, including the
inlet / outlet structures.

Delivery Date:
The work shall commence immediately upon official notification
of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to
be completed by March 31st, 2014.

MANDATORY Site Visit:
It is mandatory that the bidder or a representative of the
bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for a
tour of the work site to be held on 4th December 2013 @ 10:30
a.m. Bidders will be required to sign an attendance sheet.
Bidders who do not attend the mandatory site visit or send a
representative will not be given an alternative site visit and
their bids will be rejected as non-compliant.

Value of Project:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project
is estimated to cost between
$425,000.00 - $475,000.00.

Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain

Addenda, when issued will be available from GETS - Buy and Sell.
Firms that elect to base their bids on tender (solicitation)
documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk
and will be solely responsible to inform the tender calling
authority of their intention to bid. In all cases, bidders must
indicate (when requested) in the space provided on the tender
form the identification number (s) of the addenda, if any, that
they have taken into consideration for their bid.
