Line1, DND: Landing Craft (LCVP) Refit

Requirement

a) To carry out the docking and refit of two (2) Landing Craft
(LCVP) from HMCS Protecteur for the Department of National
Defence in accordance with the associated Technical
Specifications detailed in the Statement of Work and Project
Management Services.
b) To carry out any approved unscheduled work not covered in
paragraph (a).

Work Period

Commence: 06 March 2013
Complete: 10 May 2013

This time frame includes a reasonable amount of time for
additional work

Bidders Conference and Viewing

Bidders' Conference and Viewing: A Bidders' Conference chaired
by PWGSC will be held at D-Jetty on Wilfert Rd in Colwood, BC on
Thursday 14 February 2013. The conference will begin at 1030
local time.
The viewing will take place immediately following the Bidder's
Conference.

Destination

The work shall be performed by the Contractor at their
Repair Facility

Sourcing Strategy

The sourcing strategy related to this procurement will be
limited to suppliers in Western Canada, in accordance with the
Shipbuilding Procurement Policy (19/12/96) subject to the
Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT). This procurement is exempt
from NAFTA [see Chapter 10, Annex 1001.2b, paragraph 1 (a)] and
from the WTO-AGP (see Annex 4).

Delivery Date: Above-mentioned

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
