Tender description
The senior application software architect will be required to design and implement architectural solution for the suite of application systems supported by PBDID . Additionally, the resource will be required to provide advice and guidance regarding optimal architectural designs and software solutions to PBDID staff , its client and DTSS senior management as required.
Duties and deliverables may include but not be limited to the following:
• Translate business requirements into an architected solution;
• Propose best approach to configure solution optimizing for performance and cost efficiencies;
• Design solution architecture to support optimal solution delivery and integration
• Design solution architecture to optimize solution performance and build to scale
• Clearly articulate design considerations including defining solution risk/benefit analysis
• Produce documentation such as solution design documents, options analysis, configuration standards;
• Lead solution design sessions, architect and document solutions;
• Recommend industry best practices to technology and business stakeholders;
• Provide knowledge transfer to PBDID team members through documentation and information sessions including hands-on assistance to developers, business analysts, user interface designers, and other relevant team members; and
• Provide updates/status reporting to project team management as required.
• Present proposed solution architecture for approval to Departmental Management and Executive Committees as required
