For the supply of all labour, material, tools, equipment,
transportation and supervision necessary to provide fall arrest
equipment certification and maintenance services on an annual
and as and when requested basis for the Department of National
Defence, Winnipeg MB as detailed in the Statement of Work
(attached hereto as Annex A). The period of the Contract will
be a two (2) year period from date of Contract Award with Canada
retaining an irrevocable option to extend the Contract for three
(3) additional consecutive one (1) year periods. The services
must be provided in accordance with the terms and conditions
specified herein.
There is a security requirement associated with this
requirement.
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North
American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement on
Internal Trade (AIT).
Optional Site Visit
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for a
tour of the work site. The site visit will be held on June 18,
2013 at 10:00 am at The Department of National Defence, 17 Wing,
Winnipeg,WCE Conference room Bldg. 100. Bidders must communicate
with the Contracting Authority no later than three (3) days
before the scheduled visit to confirm attendance and provide the
name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders who do not
confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who
will attend as required will not be allowed access to the site.
Bidders will be requested to sign an attendance form. Bidders
who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an
alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from
submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid
solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as
an amendment to the bid solicitation.
