Nature of Requirements:
Title: Electron Microscopic Analysis of Tissue Samples
REQUIREMENT:
Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) - Suffield,
Medicine Hat, Alberta, has a requirement for the assessment and
expert interpretation of tissue damage using electron microscopy
as well as other specialized imaging techniques.
I. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
1. Education: BSc in Biological field
2. Experience: Demonstrated experience with electron microscopy
(both scanning and transmission Electron Microscopy (EM) and
light microscopy and in the description and interpretation of
images from both in vivo and in vitro model systems of brain
using both types of microscopy.
CONTRACTOR SELECTION:
The contractor will be selected on the basis of the Assessed
Best Value to the Crown taking into account merit and cost
factors.
PERIOD OF CONTRACT:
It is anticipated that any contract will be effective from date
of Contract to March 31, 2015 inclusive.
ESTIMATED FUNDING:
The estimated funding available for the Contract resulting from
the bid solicitation is $70,000.00 CAD, the Goods and Services
Tax or the Harmonized Sales Tax excluded, FOB destination for
goods, customs duties and excise taxes included. This disclosure
does not commit Canada to pay the estimated funding available.
