The PWGSC Vancouver office provides procurement services to the
public in English.
The N and CNS instrument is required for a variety of current
and anticipated research studies at PARC for a range of field,
laboratory and greenhouse programs. The potential range of
studies will include those related to nutrient dynamics in
soil-plant-atmosphere systems especially in relation to
nitrogen, waste management, composting and post-harvest
physiology of human and animal food. The N and CNS instrument
will be used to continue analyses of long-term research trial
samples that have been analyzed for Total N to date with an N
analyzer and for Total C,N, and S with a CNS analyzer over a
period of 17 years. Analyses performed by the instrument could
be for one of two general research purposes:
"routine" analyses of numerous experimental samples including
long-term research experiments, and
analyses of research samples for methods development and
evaluation oriented research
Requirement:
Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Research Centre, Agassiz, BC
require the supply, delivery and installation of one(1) Total
Nitrogen (N) Analyzer and one(1) Total Carbon, Nitrogen Sulfur
(CNS) Analyzer
