Autoclave - Lethbridge Research Centre
Supply and install of an autoclave (i.e. steam sterilizer) is
required for the Basement Laboratory Zone of the Lethbridge
Research Centre to sterilize solid and liquid materials for
biomedical and agricultural research, and to render biohazardous
materials (e.g. containing risk group 2 and risk group 2+
pathogens) safe for disposal in the normal liquid and solid
waste stream. The sterilizer is particularly important for
individuals involved in research that must meet national
containment level 2 standards.
THERE IS NO SECURITY REQUIREMENT WITH THIS REQUIREMENT.
TRADE AGREEMENTS
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North
American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and the Agreement on
Internal Trade (AIT).
REISSUE OF BID SOLICITATION
This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid
solicitation number 01586-130318/A dated October 01, 2013 with a
closing of November 12, 2013 at 2:00 pm.. A debriefing or
feedback session will be provided upon request to
bidders/offerors/suppliers who bid on the previous solicitation.
