NATURE OF REQUIREMENT:
A Contractor is required to provide the materials for the
creation of identification and specialty cards for Military
members, Civilian employees, and Allied Force members of
Department of National Defence (DND) in support of the National
Identification Program. The National Defence Identification
Section (NDIS) logo must be printed on laminate as a security
feature provided to DND for creation of the identification and
specialty cards.
The contractor must provide on an "as and when" required basis
the items listed in the Statement of Work. These items must be
delivered within five (5) working days after receipt of order.
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement on
Internal Trade (AIT).
The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods
and/or services.
PERIOD OF THE CONTRACT:
The period of the contract is from date of award until January
31st, 2017 inclusive, with the option to extend the term of the
contract by up to two (2) additional one year perdiods under the
same conditions.
BASIS OF SELECTION:
A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation
and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be
declared responsive.
The responsive bid with the lowest total evaluated price that
passes the pre-production sample evaluation (Phase II) will be
recommended for award of a contract.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
