This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid
solicitation number W8486-136202/A dated 2012-10-25 with a
closing of 2012-12-12 at 02:00 PM. A debriefing or feedback
session will be provided upon request to bidders who bid on the
previous solicitation.
The Department of National Defence has a requirement for the
following VERTICAL MACHINING CENTRE, in accordance with Annex A
- Requirement, Pricing and Delivery of the Request for Proposal,
to be delivered to Gatineau, Quebec by 31 October 2013.
This requirement includes one (1) Monarch CNC VMC45 vertical
machining center as a trade-in.
Equivalent items will be considered.
A mandatory site visit will be held on 10 September 2013 at
10:00 AM at the main entrance of 45 Boulevard Sacre Coeur,
Gatineau (Hull Sector), Quebec, Canada. Bidders must
communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than three
(3) calendar days before the scheduled visit to confirm
attendance and provide the names of the attendee(s) who will
attend. Bidders must attend the mandatory site visit in order
to bid on this solicitation process. Any clarifications or
changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit
will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. Late
arrivals will not be accepted.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
