The City of Calgary (the City), on behalf of the Calgary Police Service (CPS), is seeking proposals for a commercial off the shelf Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) solution to replace the existing scanning system. The proposed solution will support batch scanning of physical documents, OCR/ICR based metadata extraction, validation workflows, and automated export of documents and metadata to OpenText Content Server. Proposed solution must support on premises or Protected C deployment, integrate with CPS’s Microsoft environment, and comply with CPS security, privacy, access control, and audit requirements. Case management and evidence management functionality are out of scope.
The scope of work will be delivered across the following three (3) phases:
- Phase 1 – Proof of Concept
- Phase 2 – Implementation of the Proposed Software Solution
- Phase 3 – Ongoing Maintenance and Support
