Modular Design for the satellite CASS-CAST

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) on behalf of
Canadian Space Agency (CSA) located in St-Hubert, (Quebec),is
seeking bids to perform work on Modular Design for CASS-CATS
(Chemical and Aerosol Sounding Satellite - Canadian Atmospheric
Tomography System). The work solicited is the development and
advancement of this technology up to Technology Readiness Level
(TRL) 5. This technology is one of those that have the
potential for innovation and/or technological impact and has
been established by the CSA as a strategic technology to be
developed to meet the objectives set forth by the Canadian Space
Strategy.
SECURITY REQUIREMENTS
No security requirements apply to this project.
PERIOD OF CONTRACT
The contract issued will be for a period of maximum twenty-four
(24) months.
ACTUAL BUDGET AVAILABLE
The actual budget available under this RFP is $800,000, all
applicable taxes extra. A contract will be awarded to the best
compliant bid. Annex A (Statement of Work & Requirements)
provides details regarding the Work required.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Intellectual Property will belong to the Contractor

The requirement is limted to Canadian goods and/or services

Firm price with milestone payments or ceiling price.
