Weatheradio Broadcast Transmitters
This amendment changes the closing date from from 7 January 2014
to 10 January 2014.
Environment Canada has a requirement for Weatheradio Broadcast
Transmitters in accordance with Annex A, Requirement, to be
supplied as and when requested during a three year period from
date of award for delivery to various Environment Canada,
Meteorological Service of Canada locations in Canada.
The transmitter must include a power supply, exciter and power
amplifier and have a minimum operating temperature of -30 to +60
degrees Celsius. The requirement also includes operating
software. See Annex A, Requirement for complete list of
mandatory technical requirements.
It is anticipated that up to 35 units will be required annually.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
