Nature of Requirements:
Correctional Services Canada (CSC) wishes to consult with
industry via this Request for Information (RFI), in order to
elicit the expert opinions of private sector organizations
specializing in the provisions of technology and specialist
personnel in regards to technologies to enhance the safety of
staff working with parole supervision. There are several
operational requirements to which CSC would like more
information from the industry; specifically, requirements
pertaining to officers in remote/rural areas where officers are
required to travel to locations where there is no access to
cellular networks. Refer to the attached RFI documentation for
further details.

This is not a bid solicitation. A contract will not result from
this activity. This RFI is for informational purposes only and
does not constitute a commitment by Canada. Responses to this
RFI will not constitute a commitment from the industry provider.
The Government of Canada will not reimburse any expenses
incurred for the preparation of responses to this RFI.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
