The Canadian Centre for Agricultural Research in Health and
Medicine (CCARM), Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada has a
requirement for one (1) plate Imager that will detect binding
events using Electrochemiluminescence in a 96-well format.
System must be able to handle samples from different type of
species including Human, Mouse and Rat. It must also be capable
to perform the detection in different matrixes like serum,
plasma, urine, cerebrospinal (CSF) and tissue culture media or
cell lysate. Multiple detection(Multiplexing) per well is also
required. CCARM examines related claims of various food
components through careful experimentation. This includes
identifying the active ingredients capable of providing
preventative or therapeutic health benefits. An
electrochemiluminescence plate reader (imaging) System is
required to measure the biological and chemical efforts of
bioactive materials, which include small molecules and
macromolecules that are being isolated and characterized by
CCARM investigators. The instrument offered must meet the
following mandatory specifications attached in the Request for
Proposal.
The system must be delivered to CCARM, Agriculture & Agri-Food
Canada, 351 Tache Ave, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada R2H 2A9 by
March 31, 2012.
