Full description

The contractor will (1) on 58 GLNI samples from 2012, perform taxonomic identification and validation to the lowest possible level according to the specified taxonomic effort indicated in Attachment 1; (2) on the remaining samples, process, sort, enumerate and perform taxonomic identification and validation to the lowest possible level according to the specified taxonomic effort indicated below; (3) ensure the Quality Assurance/Quality Control program is carried out; (4) provide summaries and raw data for all samples in Excel spreadsheet format; (5) provide the taxonomic data in a format compatible with bulk uploads into the CABIN database including ITIS coding (format will be supplied) for all samples; and (6) archive and return the reference collection to Environment Canada. Processing procedures shall follow the CABIN protocols to ensure data credibility and consistency within the biomonitoring program. The proposed contract will be from the date of contract award to 31 March 2016. The maximum budget allocated for this project shall not exceed $53,500.00.
