Canada has a requirement to establish a National Master Standing
Offer (NMSO) for the supply of Medical Equipment and Medical
Supplies (MEMS), on an as and when requested basis, to any
authorized representative of a Federal Government department,
departmental corporation, or agency.
This requirement is intended for the supply of MEMS products for
which the Offeror maintains exclusive rights to distribute
within Canada.
The proposed NMSO will be for a one (1) year period with the
option to extend for up to two (2) additional one (1) year
periods.
While a complete list of requirements are identified in the
Request for Standing Offer document, some of the requirements a
successful Offeror will meet are:
(a) have manufacturer authorized to exclusively distributorship
their products nationally within Canada;
(b) have an annual medical sales volume of at least $500,000.00;
and
(c) have a valid Medical Device Establishment License (MDEL)
Offerors may submit their proposals for evaluation and issuance
at any time before the closing date of December 15, 2014 at 2:00
EST.
Authorization of Standing Offers will commence no earlier than
March 15, 2014.
This amendment is raised to answer bidder questions.
