Requirement:
The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for
the procurement of mattress, spring filled manufactured in
accordance with Annex B , Purchase Description for Mattress
Shipboard Use Spring Filled Type dated November 2013 and drawing
provided with the solicitation document.
Item 1 - NSN 7210-21-920-4250 - Mattress, Shipboard Use, Spring
filled type for Halifax, Tribal and Kingston Class Crew, Ptr
Class Crew and Officers.
Item 2 - NSN 7210-21-920-6716 - Mattress., Shipboard Use, Spring
filled type for Halifax and Tribal Class Officers, Kingston
Class Officers and Chief and PO's.
All items must be fire retardant as detailed in the Purchase
Description (Annex B).
Firm Quantity
Item 1 - Firm quantity of 200 each for Halifax, NS
Item 2 - Firm quantity of 120 each (60 each for Victoria, BC and
60 each for Halifax, NS)
Delivery requested:
All firm deliverables are requested to be complete on or before
March 31, 2014.
Option Quantities - estimated:
This requirement also includes one option. The option is to
purchase additional estimated quantities from a minimum of 375
each up to a maximum of 750 each to be delivered to Halifax, NS
and Victoria, BC.
Option 1 is exercisable within 24 months from contract award.
Enquiries:
To ensure a response before the bid closing date, all enquiries
about this requirement must be submitted in writing and received
by the Contracting Authority at least seven (7) calendar days
prior to the closing date.
