TITLE: Scanner Widetek 36DS

Advance Contract Award Notice (ACAN)

An ACAN is a public notice indicating to the supplier community
that a department or agency intends to award a contract for
goods, services or construction to a pre-identified supplier,
thereby allowing other suppliers to signal their interest in
bidding, by submitting a statement of capabilities. If no
supplier submits a statement of capabilities that meets the
requirements set out in the ACAN, on or before the closing date
stated in the ACAN, the contracting officer may then proceed
with the award to the pre-identified supplier.

1. Definition of the requirement

The Department of Public Works and Government Services Canada
need one duplex scanner large format, WideTek 36 DS, capable of
scanning both sides in one pass. This requirement must include
the delivery, installation, onsite training and must have a 12
months on-site warranty, parts, labor and travel included with
an option of additional coverage up to 24 months.

Options for the delivery of one additional unit may be

documents.

The scanned images will be made available through the Library

four single images, capturing the left and right half of the
front and back, in one single step.
4) Must scan color 12.4 inches per second.

5) Must have an optical resolution of 1200 x 600 DPI.
6) Must have white LED lamps, IR/UV free.
7) The scanning should be done from the front, up and display
in real time.
8) Editing images without rescanning the document.
