RISO - TUG SERVICES
Requirement;
Request for a Regional Individual Standing Offer for the
provision of tug services to support the operations of the
Queen's Harbour Master - Halifax (QHM) on an as and when
requested basis for a three year period. Services will be
required to augment existing QHM tug services during inclement
weather or where there is an increase in operations.
Tugs Employed for services under this standing offer must
conform to the following specifications:
- the tugs must be between 40 and 60 tons bollard pull on each
vessel
- the vessels to be 150 feet or less in length, 50 feet or less
in width and draft not exceeding 25 feet.
- the vessels must be available at short notice, within
approximately 4 hours from moment of call-up.

01 January 2014 to 31 December 2016

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
