The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) administers multiple public facing portals which allows Canadians to have access to their tax information. Currently users with multiple accounts such as a business account and an individual tax account can only access their tax information by signing up for numerous different portals, which can be quite burdensome due to the hassle of keeping numerous different passwords and having to retrieve their tax information in multiple different locations. The CRA Secure Portal Reengineering (SPR) project aims to create a single secure and authenticated digital service space inclusive of all CRA branches and programs that will function as the centralized hub of secure online services for the Agency. The project consists of developing a reengineered infrastructure that is robust yet flexible and agile enough to accommodate future growth. It will deliver integrated horizontal transactions through a consistent user interface in a single portal experience, as well as allowing for an evolving user base and their various roles and future enhancements in technology. This will be achieved, in part, via the purchase of a Horizontal Portal Product Software, including an Access Control module. Therefore Shared Services Canada on behalf of CRA is seeking a vendor that can provide the aforementioned software.
The Contract will be for a period of one (1) year with nine (9) one-year options.
