Parks Canada is seeking professional moving services to move, consolidate and shelve all library collections on the third floor of the Cornwall facility. This work will be staggered over a period of five months starting in June 2014. In general, for most library collections, the work consists of packing, loading, transporting to Cornwall, unloading, unpacking and shelving the library materials according to Parks Canada’s instructions. In some cases work includes disassembling, transporting, unloading and reassembling (and in a few cases, physically modifying) shelving units. In a few cases, we also need to move some furnishings. The appendices provide detailed descriptions of work required for each collection (the nature and scope of library materials, shelving equipment and furnishing).
