Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada has a requirement for the
supply, delivery and installation of one (1) Pull Type
Agricultural Sprayer. The equipment must be received and
installed on or before March 31, 2014.
The proposed bidders must meet all mandatory criteria detailed
in the Request for Proposal document.
Some of the mandatory criteria are provided below. Refer to the
Request for Proposal for the complete list.
M1. The bidder must provide documentation demonstrating that
their proposed Pull Type Agricultural Sprayer meets the
following minimum specifications:
Tank size of 500 - 550 gallons (1892 to 2082 litres)
PTO RPM 540 diaphragm, centrifugal pump 25-90 GPM output with
220 PSI
11.2 x 38" tires with adjustable wheel track from 60" to 90"
clearance height
Rinse tank with a minimum size of 50 gallons
Clean water hand was tank
Marker System - Foam marker system included with switch operated
from tractor cab.
Spray Tank - in tank agitation, sight gauge that is in full
sight of the operator in the tractor and a sturdy easily
accessible service platform complete with handrails for easy
climbing and safety
Booms
Type - Hydraulic folding booms, 45 feet, single side boom
folding complete with boom suspension
Height Control - 20" to 60" in vertical height
Break away ends are required in case of contact with objects
Electric controls wth 3 section boom shut offs that are
controlled from inside the tractor cab
Constant pressure regulation
Boom height in the transportation position (folded) must not
exceed 10 feet or 3.0 metres
Controller - variable rate controller

procurement.
