TITLE: Garrison Grounds Parking Upgrade, Halifax Citadel
GENERAL WORK DESCRIPTION:
Work under this contract covers upgrades to the Garrison Grounds at the Halifax Citadel, National Historic Site. Related items include removals, paving/repaving the existing parking areas, extending a gravel service road, drainage elements and other items indicated on the drawings.
SITE VISIT:
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. However, Parks Canada will not be organizing a formal site visit.
The Contractor shall be deemed to have visited the site and examined all assets and to have become fully familiar with all conditions relative to carrying out the work. There shall be no consideration given to claims resulting from the Contractor's failure to carry out sufficient site investigations prior to tendering of the work.
SCHEDULE / PERIOD OF WORK:
The contractor must complete this project before March 26, 2014.
