5P423-14-6523 Jasper Heritage Train Station Roof Rehabilitation, Jasper National Park Parks Canada Agency requires a Contractor to rehabilitate the roof of the Jasper Heritage Train Station in Jasper National Park (JNP) according to the attached Requirements and “As Built” plans. The Work includes but is not limited to removal and replacement of existing materials, eaves troughs, flashing, heat tracers, chimneys stonework/ interior liners and Christmas lights. The Work is scheduled to start upon contract award and must be completed no later than March 25, 2014. Closing Date: November 28, 2013 (MDT) An optional site visit will take place on November 18, 2013 at 1:00 pm. Bidders are to meet at the Jasper Heritage Train Station, 607 Connaught Drive, JNP Admin reception entrance in Jasper National Park Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority not later than one (1) day before the scheduled visit to confirm attendance. National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act. Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered. Standard Terms and Conditions for this procurement are incorporated by reference into, and form part of the Tender and Contract Documents.
