PROJECT IDENTIFICATION: Project Number.: R.060926.002
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Motor Replacement, Chiller # 2, National Research Centre,
Central Heating and Cooling Plant, 98 Sussex Drive, Ottawa,
Ontario.
Work is to be completed within twenty (20) weeks after contract
award. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the
following category: $250,000 - $500,000
MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:
This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement. At
bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid Designated
Organization Screening (DOS). Failure to comply with this
requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further
consideration will be given to the Bid.
OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:
There will be a optional site visit on November 26, 2013 at
10:00 a.m.. Interested bidders shall meet at the National
Research Centre, Central Heating and Cooling Plant, 98 Sussex
Drive, Ottawa, Ontario
SAFETY ATTIRE:
It is mandatory that all persons attending the site visit have
the proper safety footwear (CSA approved green patch). Hard
hats, hearing protection and safety glasses are also required.
Contractor personnel/individuals who do not have the proper
safety attire will be denied access to the site. No photos
shall be permitted.

Enquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no
less than five (5) calendar days prior to the closing date to
