AAFC Roof Replacement - Potato Research Centre, Building 11,
Fredericton, N.B.
Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement
for the roof replacement at Building 11, Potato Research Center,
Fredericton, New Brunswick. The work consists of, but is not
limited to, the following: Removal and disposal of existing
roofing materials and supply and installation of new roofing
materials with modifications to the slope. All work is to be
performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for
PWGSC Project Numbers R.065790.001 forming part of the bid
document. The contract completion is thirteen (13) weeks after
contract award.
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site and examine the Scope of the Work
required and the existing conditions. There will be an optional
site visit on October 24, 2013 at 1:00 pm. All interested
bidders are to meet at the main entrance of the Main Entrance
of the Potato Research Centre, Fredericton, New Brunswick.
Although not mandatory, all contractors wishing to submit a
tender for this work are encouraged to attend to become familiar
with all aspects of the work. Any clarifications or changes to
the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be
included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
New measures related to Code of Conduct and certifications
included in the solicitation documents requires attention.
A public bid opening will be held at the Bid Receiving Unit,
Room 421, 189 Prince William Street, Saint John, N.B.
The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following
category: $100,001 - $250,000 (HST extra). Standard bid and
contract security for construction is required.
