NOTICE OF OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site.
See Addendum No. 1 for details.
The Department of Public Works and Government Services has a
requirement for renovations at the central washroom at the
Joseph A. Ghiz Building, 275 Pope Road, Summerside, Prince
Edward Island. Work under this contract consists of but may not
be limited to:
1. Demolition of existing spaces as identified on drawings.
2. Construction of new partitions as shown on drawings.
3. Reuse and salvage existing fixtures, flooring etc., as show
on drawings.
4. Fit up and finish of spaces as shown on drawings.
5. Mechanical and electrical services as shown on drawings.
All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and
specifications for Project Number R.000003.033 forming part of
the bid document
Site of Work is at: Joseph A Ghiz Building, 275 Pope Road,
Summerside, Prince Edward Island
The estimate for this opportunity is within the following cost
category: $100,001 - $250,000.
The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within ten
(10) weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the
offer.

Inquiries are to be made in accordance with section S104 of the
Special Instructions to Bidders.
There is a security requirement for this contract. If the
contractor does not hold a valid security clearance they must be
escorted while in the building.
Standard bid and contract security for construction is required.
Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain
tender documents through the Government Electronic Tendering
Service. Addenda, when issued, will be available from GETS.
Firms that elect to base their bids on tender documents obtained
from other sources do so at their own risk and will be solely
responsible to inform the tender calling authority of their
intention to bid.
Standard terms and conditions for this procurement are
incorporated by reference, and form part of the tender and
contract documents. The standard documents are issued by Public
Works and Government Services and may be viewed on the GETS
electronic bulletin board as part of the information module.

Under the Code of Conduct and Certification provisions, (refer
to G101 of R2710), Bidders must submit the following as part of
their bid:
