TITLE: PENSION BENCHMARKING SERVICES
Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), through the
Pension Services Directorate (PSD) requires benchmarking
services to capture performance measures relevant to its pension
administration processes in order to make better business
decisions relating to pension service improvements.
Benchmarking has enabled PWGSC/PSD to compare costs with other
similar Canadian (public) pension administrations and see what
exists in the way of better business practices it might
incorporate to improve its pension administrative services.
Methods to improve pension administration services have come
from discussions with benchmarking participants in relation to
new business practices and technology aimed at the enhancement
of service delivery to contributors and annuitants/survivors
alike.
PERIOD OF CONTRACT
The period of the Contract is from date of Contract to June 30,
2016 inclusive.
The Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to extend
the period of the Contract by up to three (3) additional one (1)
year periods under the same terms and conditions.

TIME FRAMES
The PWGSC/PSD pension plan benchmarking process will consist of
three distinct phases which are to occur on an annual cycle as
follows:
1. Phase I - Survey
2. Phase II - Reports
3. Phase III - Meetings/Conferences
WORK LOCATION
The Contractor will be working at his/her own place of business
and in the National Capital Region for meetings.
