Bid documents must be sent as email attachments.REQUIREMENTParks Canada requires a contract for Rouge National Urban Park for regular janitorial services for 7 office buildings and On-demand janitorial services for 2 staff housing facilities located within the Park boundaries. The Contractor will be responsible to provide a range of janitorial services including all labour, supervision, transportation and equipment within the office buildings and staff housing facilities. Contractor is also responsible to provide all cleaning and disinfection products required to perform the tasks.PERIOD OF CONTRACT / DELIVERY DATEThe period of the Contract is from April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023 inclusive.For a twelve (12) month period with the option to extend the term of the Contract by up to three (3) additional one (1) year period under the same conditions. SECURITY REQUIREMENTThere is a security requirement associated with this bid solicitation.New personnel security clearance requests will require mandatory fingerprints to initiate the criminal record check. The validity of an existing personnel security clearance issued by the Government of Canada is not affected by the change in the criminal record check process. Applicants who require a personnel security clearance are responsible for all costs associated with fingerprinting.BIDDERS’ CONFERENCEA bidders' conference will be held via teleconference on January 11, 2022. The conference will begin at 2:00 pm EST. The scope of the requirement outlined in the bid solicitation will be reviewed during the conference and questions will be answered. It is recommended that bidders who intend to submit a bid attend or send a representative.Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority before the conference to confirm attendance and receive the link. Bidders should provide, in writing, to the Contracting Authority, the name(s) of the person(s) who will be attending and a list of issues they wish to table no later than January 10, 2022 at 2:00pm EST.Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the bidders' conference will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
