SUMMARY:
Public Works and Government Services Canada on behalf of the Department of National Defence - 9 Wing Gander, is inviting Offerors to submit bids to provide all labour, materials, equipment, transportation and daily site supervision necessary to provide janitorial services in accordance with the Statement of Work in Annex A
The estimated cost (based on the TWO Year (2) contract period plus an additional ONE (1), 12 month option period, if required) for this opportunity is within the following cost category: $251,000. To $500,000. (HST extra).
WORK DESCRIPTION:
Work under this standing offer covers the provision of all labour, materials, tools, and equipment to complete this job. All services will be provided on an "as and when requested" basis. The Contractor will provide the majority of services daily during the routine base hours, Monday to Friday. Any work carried out other than normal working hours must be authorized by the Departmental Representative.
PERIOD OF THE CONTRACT:
The period of this contract will be for TWO (2) YEARS with ONE (1) additional ONE-YEAR option year. .

This notice is to advise: Prior to award of a contract, the lowest compliant bidder MUST hold a valid Security Clearance granted or approved by PWGSC Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD) at the level indicated in this solicitation document. Should the bidder not currently hold a valid Security Clearance or require the level to be upgraded, PWGSC will sponsor the bidder. The Contractor/Offeror must, at all times during the performance of the Contract hold a valid Facility Security Clearance at the level of RELIABLITY STATUS - issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC).
The Contractor/Offeror personnel requiring access to the work site(s) must EACH hold a valid personnel security screening at the level of RELIABILITY STATUS as required, granted or approved by CISD/PWGSC.
The Contractor/Offeror must comply with the provisions of the:
a) Security Requirements Check List and security guide (if applicable), attached at Annex C
b) Industrial Security Manual (Latest Edition).
